Overview
The Aura Aspen 12" HD WiFi Digital Picture Frame is Aura's mid-sized frame, released in April 2025, offering a 12-inch (11.8" diagonal) 1600x1200 HD anti-glare LCD display with 4:3 aspect ratio and dual-orientation design that auto-rotates between portrait and landscape. Like all Aura frames, the Aspen uses a cloud-only streaming model with free unlimited cloud storage — photos and 30-second video clips are sent from a smartphone via the Aura app and appear on the frame within seconds, with no subscription required. The frame features a motion sensor for auto on/off, an ambient light sensor for auto brightness adjustment, and a capacitive swipe touch bar for intuitive navigation. The Aspen includes a paper mat insert for a traditional framed-photo look and is available in multiple color finishes including Ink (black), Clay (white), Carbon (dark), and Sandstone (light). It supports iCloud and Google Photos integration and can be shared by unlimited family members and friends.
