Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold
Overview
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is Samsung's first tri-folding smartphone, announced December 2025 and released in select markets (South Korea, Singapore, UAE, Taiwan, and the United States) through early 2026. It features a massive 10.0-inch tri-foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate that unfolds from a compact 12.9mm thick folded profile into a full tablet-sized screen at just 3.9-4.2mm thin. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, it houses a 200MP main camera system — the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 — along with the largest battery ever in a Samsung foldable at 5,600 mAh. Running Android 16 with One UI 8, the device was sold exclusively in Crafted Black at $2,899 but was discontinued in all markets by April 2026 after just three months of availability, making it one of the shortest-lived flagship Samsung phones.
