Overview
The Potensic Atom 3 is the latest generation of Potensic's popular sub-249g beginner-friendly drone, launched June 2026 with a major camera upgrade to a 1/1.3-inch 50MP CMOS sensor capable of 4K/60fps HDR video and AI Night Shot. It introduces the new PTD 2 controller with 16 km triple-band video transmission, significantly improved battery life (40 min standard / 50 min Plus), and a sturdier redesigned body with accessible USB-C and microSD ports. AI Track 2.0, included ND filters, and a redesigned USB-C charging dock make it one of the most compelling beginner drones on the market and a strong non-DJI alternative in the sub-250g category.
